I wasn't aware of that feature in 10.3. I can see it working nice for a single application, but this happens to the whole desktop... everything on the desktop generally still works (except where MPlayer is drawn), and the screen is not returned to normal even after MPlayer is killed off. > Are you using the OSS nvidia drivers or the proprietary ones? I installed them using the 1-Click link from the opensuse.org site.... which worked great by the way (to install the drivers)... so I assume that is the openSUSE RPMs. Maybe I should rip them out and use the ones downloaded from nVidia direct. I didn't think there would be a difference... ie I assumed that the 1-Click installed RPMs would be the same... shouldn't assume.. I know.
