I took a look at the JSF Spec last weekend, and I thought to myself "Wow, what an incredible heavy beast we've got here..." :)
Of course I dislike the fact that evetyhing seems to be around JSP.

Anyway, I just started wonder what are the general thoughts about Webwork/Xwork implementing the JSF API.
And the fact that probably Struts team will want to get the JSF on their feature list as soon as possible: http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/proposals/struts-faces.html

Was this allready deeply discussed between xwork/webwork core developers?
Wouldn't it be interesting to have a velocity based implementation of JSF?
Is there too little man-time to work 'also' on this?
thoughts?
