hi,
I'm new to openthinclient and I've tested environment as administrator.
Now I'm trying to "tune" some things on base packages. for example: vnc
default password
I've successfully set up a development environment, downloaded base
package 0.4.1-7 tar, changed vncpassword in /etc, builded, distributed,
upgraded and tested on client machine. I've changed version of base
package to 0.4.1-8, just to test

But now it seems dhcp-client does not work:
a) the file /etc/resolv.conf does not exist
b) if I open an xterm and issue ifdown ifup eth0, dhcp-client does not
obtanin an ip
c) with a networking restart my client does not get an ip.

I'm completely lost, because I'm new to this and don't know wich are the
steps further.
I thought that downloading base tar and generating package, without
changing nothing would be enough

My intention is to change things like: load snmp daemon on client,
change default location of automount, etc...

Someone can give me directions on where to find out more.(the error I
can see in logs is dhclient execve
(/lib/dhcp3-client/call-dhclient-script, ...): Permission denied
i've reinstalled openthinclient and used base-0.4.1-7 and works well, in
the same developer environment.

Thanks.
