hello,
first of all, thanks for the wonderful product. i am a network admin for a
large (500+ employees) homeless services non profit in denver, colorado.
currently we use ThinStation on about 200 thinclients (a mix of hp
5720/5710 and wyze v90's). we are looking to migrate to a thinstation
solution that has easier management. openthinclient fits the bill perfectly.
however, there are a couple problems. i have emailed the user list to no
avail, so i hope it is ok to email the developer list. we need to use
freerdp, as all of our thinclients connect to loadbalanced terminal server
farms and rdesktop does not support session redirection (users need to
provide credentials twice, once initially and then again upon redirection).
issue #1:
freerdp on OTC does not work in fullscreen. the session loads and they are
connected, but the OTC desktop never goes away and the session is not
displayed.
issue #2:
occasionally, freerdp terminates with a seg fault. when not specifying
fullscreen, i can connect just fine, but maybe once every 5 or 10 times,
immediately after logging on freerdp crashes with a segfault. i can run
freerdp again and connect to my previously disconnected session, but we
cant expect our users to do that.
we would be willing to pay a fee to expedite getting freerdp working
correctly on OTC.
