It tries to send the PXE information, so that one works, too, which
looks good.

Now it might be interesting to look at the network traffic. Given
that you installed it in a virtual machine, it should be possible
to have a look at the shared interface from a second vm or the host
itself via tcpdump or wireshark (even better because of instant
interpretation of the packets).

We did have some problems with different OSes due to their different
networking stacks and it could be that FreeBSD has to receive yet
another handling when it comes to binding to network interfaces.

But this would rather be something that Martin Kreiner can help you
with as he is more at home in that field. Martin?
