Hi Martin,

first of all thank you for your answers. The problem about the hardware drivers
is solved, but now there is the issue that the "nfs-server "IP" not responding
- still trying". We do not use an extra nfs-server, just the one coming with
the ThinClient-OS. We're testing around and wondering why it happens because a
lot of other machines are running without any issues.
The Proxy-Settings are set now, but we don't get any packages inside the
manager. I really don't know why. I hope you (or somebody else) can help. Thank
you.

Regards,

Alex

if your thin client fails on "Loading hardware drivers..." you are probably
using some unsupported hardware or hitting an ACPI bug because "udevplug" exits
with an error.

some questions and hints:
- what are the specs of your (thin) client?
- what happens if you hit <Ctrl><c> when it stalls on "Loading hardware
drivers..."?
- open the manager and try one or both (separated by space) of these
"Additional kernel parameters" at your thin client properties:

noacpi
noapic

and reboot the thin client

you have to configure your proxy settings in:

.../openthinclient/server/default/data/nfs/root/etc/package_manager.properties

(and please restart the server after changing this config file)

hope that helps,
martin
