concerning your questions:

about the "autologin user":
it's not possible to change the autologin user "tcos" to a different one 
without some hacks.
but it is possible to create a user "tcos" (otc-ldap, AD or OpenLDAP) and 
assign applications to this user.
so you can easily assign default applications to any TC with autologin.

about "wake/reboot/power off thin clients from the management software":
it's planned for the future but on low priority. if you need it urgently visit 
http://openthinclient.com and have a look at their service offers.

about "desktop wallpapers":
right now it's possible to configure any wallpaper you want by the 
desktop-application:
http://openthinclient.org/tiki-index.php?page_ref_id=100
to have it changed every couple of minutes you either need some descent 
linux-/otc-hacking knowledge or again contact openthinclient.com.
this feature is not planned.
