Come on Ian, I very politely asked that we not continue this discussion in that
Forum, and I am sure that you are clearely aware that Mark has specifically gotten
on my case about "off topic" discussions in that Forum. Why could you not reply here
where I asked you to?

We have gone over all of this before, respecting my being "banned" from the Altium
Yahoo! DXP Forum, and I am sure that you can check the Archive for that Forum, if
you need to refresh your memory on anything.

I know that you are very good friends with some of Altiums top brass, and I know
that you have personally discussed this issue with them in the past. I also would
remind you that I have personally discussed all of the details of this issue
directly with you in an email before, so it certainly is not the case that you are
in anyway uninformed.

Yet you persist, Why?

The only reason that I can possibly think of is that you are trying to goad me into
"dumping" on you, to the end of trying to get me banned from these forums. Please
forgive me if I don't reply in the manner that you would like me too.

I am not looking for a fight, I am looking for some support from Altium for their
loyal DXP Customers. Support by the way that I really do believe that even you
recognize is properly deserved and yet slow in comming.

I think that this is simply a case of if you cannot attack the message, attack the
messenger.

I can't remember being "rude" to anyone in any of my posts to the Yahoo! DXP Forum
itself, although some might say that I certainly was "rude" to Altium in general
regarding ATS and a few other issues in the PEDA Forum.

I did write one e-mail direct to Alan Todd, and not thru any of the Forums, after he
had directly "dumped" on me in the Yahoo! DXP Forum, where I asked him to have the
courtesy to please contact me directly off line in the future if he ever had
anything similar that he felt that he needed to say to me. "Rude"? possibly, but it
wasn't in the Yahoo! DXP Forum, and it was in direct response to his actually being
"Rude" to me in the Forum. Go check it out, as I am sure you have all or your own
archived copies of all of that email. If you do not have your own archive, and if
you need any copies of any specific posts, I would be glad to provide them if you
cannot get them directly from Altium tthru some of your mates.

Anyway, that is not the real issue here, is it?

The real issue is whether or not Altium is trying to pull a fast one with respect to
its loyal DXP Customers, and I believe that I have presented a fairly level headed
case for the fact that they are, and it appears that your only response is that I am
"Rude". Does that mean that you actually agree with the "content" of my previous
posts, but just not the "manner"?

I don't really expect you to answer that one, but I nonetheless think that my
presentation speaks for itself.

I apologize for the fact that I may be 'Rude" in the manner that I have presented my
case, but I still maintain that Nick specifically, and Altium in general, at a
minimum owe all of their loyal DXP Customers an explanation and an apology,
specifically for the way that they have been treated, especially by Nick, but also
by Altium in general, in the last few weeks and months here in the various Forums,
and by the way that "Protel 2004" is being portrayed not only here in the forums,
but also on the Altium website and in their various product literature.

Respectfully,

JaMi
