Ubuntu 10.10
openvassd -p 9391 and openvas -p 9393 are running:

sudo netstat -nlp | grep openvas
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:9391 0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN 32445/openvassd: wa
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:9393 0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN 32453/openvasad

When I try to run the manager for the first time with the rebuild (or
update, for that matter) it just comes back saying "Aborted". I tried a
number of variations of -p and -s with --rebuild and --update, they all fail
the same way. Here is one of them:

sudo openvasmd -v -p 9390 -s 9391 --rebuild
Aborted

Openvasmd.log each time I ran it gives the following two logs, nothing else:

md main:WARNING:2011-04-21 23h20.39 utc:32486: init_manage_process:
database permissions are too loose, repairing

md main:WARNING:2011-04-21 23h20.39 utc:32486: init_manage_process: chmod
failed: No such file or directory

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
