Hi All,

I'm having difficulty connecting to an OpenVAS Manager listening on IPv6.
I've tried only listening on IPv6 and see it listening in my netstat
output. I am running Manager version 6.0.7 and CLI 1.4.3.

Here is my syntax:

omp -h ipv6address -u user -p 9390 -G -v

If I use localhost or bind the manager to an ipv4 address it works with no
issues. With IPv6 it throws an error: "Failed to acquire socket". I have
tried on two different machines, one running CentOS 7 and one running
Debian Jesse. I have confirmed IPv6 is working fine on both boxes. I have
tried with a hostname defined with IPv6 only in /etc/hosts. I have tried
binding to ::1 (IPv6 Localhost) and no forms of IPv6 seem to be working
with omp.

So my question - is IPv6 supported in OMP? If so, what am I missing?

Thank you,

Sean
