The problem appears to be isolated to omp. openvasmd binds to ipv6 and I see it in netstat, the omp client throws the error "failed to acquire socket". I looked at the source code but I'm not smart enough to tell if the client/server framework has ipv6 support.
If I asked on the devel list, would I have better luck getting an answer from the programmers? Thank you for your reply.
