Hi, For various reasons, it can always happen that a workflow fails, sometimes badly enough that it's just lost. In our (Magnolia) case of integrating the embedded engine, the embedded participants store the workitems they receive. Once they proceed, these workitems are removed from the store. My questions are: * would it be useful to move these to a "backup" location rather than deleting them ? * if so, would it somehow be possible to recover the workflow state, to what level ?
This is approaching the "replay" functionalities that have been mentionned here and elsewhere a few times; as a first step, though, I would just like to have some sort of guarantee that I can always, if not recover a useable instance of a workflow, I could at least see the data and potentially re-run the workflow manually based on the wi attributes, for instance. Any thoughts? Cheers, greg --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OpenWFE users" group.
