I tried changing the name of the device and the configuration status changed to applied. However when using auto-registration to openwisp controls the configuration status is always modified and the health status is problem. So I have set OPENWISP_MONITORING_AUTO_DEVICE_CONFIG_CHECK = False for ok health status.
