My research shows that r44653 offers the best performance and stability
for TP-WR1043ND v1.8 and v2.1. While v1.8 still disconnects for a moment
every few days no matter what build I install, on r44653 it reconnects
again, the speed is very high, and there is no need to reset it. I
achieved an average speed of (9100 Kbit/s up + 9100 Kbit/s down)
simultaneously (routing the traffic back).
