Please show the outputs of "iw dev wlan0 link", "iw dev wlan1 station
dump" and "iwinfo" without arguments in both the correct and the broken
cases. The commands above assume that wlan0 = sta, wlan1 = ap. If this is
not the case for you then change accordingly.
