#23037: Unable to configure AccessPoint for 802.11r/FT -------------------------+------------------------ Reporter: Reddy | Owner: developers Type: defect | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: packages | Version: Trunk Keywords: 802.11r, FT | -------------------------+------------------------ Hi,
I am new to this so please bear with me if this is a stupid question. I know there are few threads on this but I couldn’t get what I want from any of them, so any help or direction on this is much appreciated. I have two AP's and wanted my client to roam from one to another using 802.11r(without 4 way handshake). I have configured bot of my AP's as mentioned hear(https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/uci/wireless). I see the 802.11r settings in '/etc/config/wireless' but not applied to hostapd (/tmp/run/hostapd-phy0.conf). I am using 'OpenWrt chaos calmer 15.05', and according to the above mentioned link the feature should be already included in the build as part of (https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/45051/). 'hostapd-phy0.conf' and 'wireless' are attached for further details. Note : I have captured tcpdump on the wireless (wlan0), and in the RSN capabilities AP is not declaring this feature. Info : Access Point : Linksys WRT 1900 AC Open WRT Build : OpenWrt chaos calmer 15.05 Could someone please help me on how to enable this feature on my AP? Please let me know if you need any more info.
