i've noticed a few postings related to openwrt on the asus wl-500gp
v2 and, coincidentally, someone just handed me one and asked me if i
can get openwrt 8.09 on it.
the situation is that it should run the 2.6 kernel, USB support
would be useful in the very near future and, at least for now,
wireless is *not* an issue -- it would be installed in an area in
which wireless is not allowed, anyway.
so, does this exist? i checked the downloads directory and, given
that the v2 of that router uses the BCM5354 CPU, i sort of figured
that there would be a brcm53xx directory or something like that if an
image already existed.
in any event, what are my options here? if there's nothing
downloadable for a v2, i'm quite happy to do a build. thanks.
