Hallo everyone,

after finally upgrading my routers to Barrier Breaker (from Attitude Adjustment) I detected some strange behaviour of the arp neighbour cache. It seems that STALED and especially FAILED entries are not garbage collected (at least not in a timely manner). I have even seen (stale) ARP entries of machines which hadn't been connected for days anymore.

With Attitude Adjustment garbage collection was done in an expected time range.

The /proc/sys/net/ipv4/route/gc_* settings are still set to their defaults.

Is this a bug or a intended feature?

Regards,
Sebastian
