well - a supported Linux OS and some Memory :)
The application code requires less than 1GB of disk space and the
OpenXPKI Demo Website runs on a VM with 2GB RAM and 4vCPU which is fine
for use for getting "some certificates" per day. We got it working on a
512MB RAM 1 CPU VM but this is really slow and will not serve more than
one or two concurrent requests.
If you have some automation and batch jobs running, we recommend a
minimum of 8GB RAM (when using an external database), with 32GB you
should be good to go with some hundred enrollment requests per minute
and a local DB.
In case you hold a large number of certificates and workflows, database
memory is the key to performance.
