Hi Gabriel,

our community packages are for debian only, Ubuntu packages are available, including the OpenXPKI Handbook which describes the installation and setup, via an enterprise subscription.

best regards

Oliver

Thank you so much

Is there a documented procedure for installation on an Ubuntu Server and what version do you recommend?

Thank
Gabriel

    Hello Gabriel,

well - a supported Linux OS and some Memory :)

The application code requires less than 1GB of disk space and the
OpenXPKI Demo Website runs on a VM with 2GB RAM and 4vCPU which is
    fine
for use for getting "some certificates" per day. We got it working
    on a
512MB RAM 1 CPU VM but this is really slow and will not serve more
    than
    one or two concurrent requests.

If you have some automation and batch jobs running, we recommend a
minimum of 8GB RAM (when using an external database), with 32GB you
should be good to go with some hundred enrollment requests per minute
    and a local DB.

In case you hold a large number of certificates and workflows,
    database
memory is the key to performance.
