OK you convinced me, especially since I want YANG SID files for every YANG
module,
and they really bloat the I-D.

I really like the idea of applying verified errata and making the update
available in github.

IMO YANG Packages could serve as the new DS.
Client developers need YANG Models, not some random collection of purely
optional YANG modules.
Once a module has sufficient stability and adoption, it can be added to the
appropriate YANG Package.
There can be 'stable' and 'devel' versions of each package.
