Hey all, I'm testing "submit_sms" from the smsgateway page on docs.opsview.org, and I'm having a few problems, .
I've set it all up, though I had to copy the Altinity directory from the /opt/Opsview/smsgateway/lib folder over to the perl5 directory to get it working. I can do "submit_sms" and it sends a text message, but when I add a host into Opsview, it doesn't send a text message when it alerts. It isn't sending email either, and I've tried installing Postfix, but it still isn't raising notifications... Just to complicate things, the GSM modem is plugged into the Opsview slave not the master, the SMS Notification preferences say "Run on Monitoring Server" rather than "Run on Master" and yes, the host is being monitored from the slave, not the master. I can't get physical access to the master, as it's 40 miles away in the centre of London. Any help would be gratefully received.
