That has to do with the rrd file itself. If you use rrdtool to check the rrd
file you'll see that the timeout (or whatever that parameter is called, not
sure now) is set to 60 minutes.
I wouldn't change the check itself, just change that "timeout" to something
like 120 and you'll be good to go.
I have a few checks that run once a day and changing that "fixed" the
graphs.

Opsview team,
As a suggestion, it would be nice to have opsview do that for you when the
check frequency is 30 min or over (set it to twice the service check
frequency).
