We have 227 hosts totaling 4,592 service checks, most of which are
configured with a check_interval of 5 minutes. We are using a
single Opsview 3.0.4 master, no slaves. The only non default
configuration setting we have configured is
max_concurrent_checks=0. We have tried other values with little to
no effect on the apparent delay.
What type of server hardware are you running on?
Can you post statistics from Server -> Performance Info screen (or a
screenshot)?
It is possible you're running into performance problems with your
single Opsview server. Options are to add two slaves and move all
active checks to those. You could also consider moving the Opsview
databases to a dedicated server.
I'll take a look at your performance stats and see what I can figure
out. These should indicate whether the problem is hardware, software
or configuration.
