Hi Mark,
We did this at the time of configuration/installation, where the service
checks are only run in the time period where needed. This circumvents
the problem you face now.
On the webinterface, per hostgroup, you can already schedule downtime,
however this is a manual process which needs re-iteration.
Every checked the options for the api?
