Hi Mark,

We did this at the time of configuration/installation, where the service checks are only run in the time period where needed. This circumvents the problem you face now.

On the webinterface, per hostgroup, you can already schedule downtime, however this is a manual process which needs re-iteration.

Every checked the options for the api?

Thanks

paul

Hi All,

A thread or two ago, someone made a suggestion to improve creating checks (for practice I leave it up to the reader to go find it ;-).

In the same line of thought,I'd like to suggest doing more or less the same thing for "timed exceptions".

A lot of servers (windows ofcourse) or services specific software, needs to be turned off (for backup or otherwise) for a certain time of day. And it would be excellent if we could enter these "exceptions" for all those hosts / services at the same time, instead of one by one like we need to do now.

Comments?

Mark
