Have you implemented any sort of session tracking on the new system?

For instance, the session tracking on the Juniper SSG systems by default
doesn't let SSH sessions last more than 60 minutes or something. To fix this, I
had to turn on keepalives.

Kind regards,

Subject: [opsview-users] NSCA problem - status code: 2 - restarting tunnel

Hi,

after migrating a Slave from a VMware Server to ESXi 3.5, the Slave-Node-Check
from the master permanently returns

SLAVE CRITICAL - NSCA problem - status code: 2 - restarting tunnel

Normally after few minutes this status disappears and it will change to "OK"

IP has not changed, no firewall-rules were edited.

Restarting master and slave doesn't help,
resending ssh -N -R 25801:127.0.0.1:22 <master-ip> either.

Syslog Slave: Oct 14 13:19:13 dms01-s01 autossh[5580]: port set to 0,
monitoring disabled
                Oct 14 13:19:13 dms01-s01 autossh[5581]: starting ssh (count 1)
                Oct 14 13:19:13 dms01-s01 autossh[5581]: ssh child pid is 5582

OS: Ubuntu 8.0.4, Opsview 3.3.1.3107, autossh 1.04a

Any suggestions how to troubleshoot?

Thanks very much!

Mario
