Hi,

I have set up a slave node at a remote site and followed the docs for building this and pushing the install onto the slave. Everything went OK and I configured several hosts to be monitored from the slave.

However, once the checks run after configuring a host, they immediately change state to: UNKNOWN: Service results are stale The Slave-node check on the master is reporting as OK. If I shut down Opsview on the slave I get a Slave-node notification as expected.

send2slaves -t reports success.

The web interface on the slave is reporting everything as OK, all green and seemingly fine but I cannot get the master to sync and report as OK. After I generated some alerts (shut some monitored services down, etc) the slave seems to have gone a bit crazy and is pumping out tens of mails every few seconds even though the alerts are OK again. I had to shut down the MTA, and then Opsview on the slave as it was getting into the thousands of alerts. If I start the slave again it continues.

Opsview version: 3.1.0.2553 (Im going to upgrade after my migration =)

Any ideas what I should be looking for to get the master to report as OK and how to stop the copious amounts of alerts from the slave?

Thanks.

Regards,
Andy.
