Our check for checking on age of ssl cert is as follows:

-H $HOSTADDRESS$ -S -C 14

Work great on all our physical and virtual sites (and we have lots of them) depending on how you setup the sites/hosts in opsview.

I created the service check

check_http -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -C 14



The Status Information shows:  Name or service not known



Any ideas?
