Hi Greg,

I have OpsView running on a virtual, I have the 64bit client running on one of my servers (just to test). 1. The canned services seem to report just fine but I've selected many of the other monitors like Drives, CPU and RAM but nothing other than the canned services show up. That leads to the next questions.

You should install opsview client on the system to monitor these services & make sure the service (nrpe) is running, Also make sure it is not behind the firewall or iptables restricted.

2. There are built in selections for SQL and other services but how does one configure it to monitor non standard services?

You can configure your own services in the web portal under CONFIGURATION -- service check

Thanks

 Sampath
