we will be moving towards 3.6 before that time, so we will have to

This has also been fixed in the 3.6 branch (there was a period between
3.5.2 and 3.6.0 where fixes we were bug hunting, so this got into that
branch).
We will release a 3.6.1 in the next few weeks which will include the
graphing fixes.
