Hi Ramy,

the 10209 is the Process ID of your running nrpe process.

The right port iss the 5666 as nrpe (PID 10209) is listening on 0.0.0.0 Port 5666(TCP).

0.0.0.0 means it´s listening on all interfaces your machine has.

regards

Christian

Hello,

this is the output
netstat -tulpen | grep nrpe
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:5666 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 101 801389130 10209/nrpe

i tried to open port 10209 in firewall and it worked well

but i think there was some thing wrong
is it should be 5666 ?
as same as here
0 0.0.0.0:5666

and what is it ?
10209/nrpe

is 10209 the correct port ?
or what is it in the command which i have typed ?

Thanks alot
