[opsview-users] notification template email localization and customization

What is the best way to customize the email notification template (/usr/local/nagios/libexec/notifications/com.opsview.notificationmethods.email.tt)? 

What are all the [% nagios.XXXXX %] variables I can use?
(in opsview community 3.7.0)
