Hello Luis, the current nrpe is compiled with no SSL support, but it's the "standard" one, not the opsview customized one. But, let's say it will work, the exception you're talking about will permit nrpe_check to communicate with SSL support? Even if it was complìiled without? Or the oppsite, compile with SSL and use -n to disable it?
@ John: Agree, in new systems I'll install only Opsview agent. Unless I'll need some services to be monitored by an existing server (running plain Nagios) and others monitored by Opsview: it's my case. The first one won't use SSL, the second one will.
