Hi Simon,

Postfix configured correctly, so email from the commandline from
monitoring server works.

Below some items to check, these might sound silly, however overlooking
the obvious....

- you have a contact which has a notification profile configured, for all
events (just for testing purposes)
- the contact has a proper email configured
- the notification method runs on monitoring server
- an event takes place for which the user is supposed to get a notification
- under history - notification you have a line stating the user has been
notified using a command

Can you confirm this?
