I've an additiona information.

Are the traps direct to the master server going into the exceptions page but
working correctly when going to the slave?

I have so far been unable to reproduce the problem.

Setting up a master/slave system monitoring a host with snmp traps set on it, I
have sent a generic trap to the monitoring system when monitored by either the
master or slave slave and I can collect the debug information afterwards.

This suggests there may be a difference between your master and slave servers,
possibly such as what MIB's are available on the servers. Can you confirm that
/usr/local/nagios/snmp/load is the same on both the master and the slaves and
the snmptrap daemon has recently been restarted?

I confirm you the agent has been restarted on master and slaves.
But the folder '/usr/local/nagios/snmp/load' is empty on master and slaves. Could this be the issue? I'm working with Cisco ONS 15454, also pieces of CERENT-454-MIB that could not been recognized. Still tried the "promote". BTW remember the issue I'm having is located only on the master. Mibs collected trought the slave are shown (but they are different cisco devices, simple up/down interfaces), but they collected directly on the master not (cerent mib).

Thank's!
