It depends on the location of the exit node. I saw changing the above url to 'http://www.google.fr/' or 'http://www.google.ca/'. No encryption anymore! Only 'https://www.google.com/intl/xx/' ('xx' = country code) seems to be constant regardless of the location of the exit node.
