Business Objects Enterprise - Technical Architect Location: NJ Duration : 2-3 Months
Role/Tasks: Assist with completion of the BOE (Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 on AIX) infrastructure design, if necessary. Install and configure BOE XI 3.1 on AIX, per the documented architecture and design. Design, document, and implement the BOE security and content model. Design, document, and implement system monitoring capabilities per the requirements. Design, document, and implement processes for content lifecycle management using the BOE Life Cycle Manager (LCM) tool. Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to the Client's Operations Team on best practices for system administration and management. Skills/Description: BOE XI 3.1 sizing and architecture design (including DR and backup) Installation of XI 3.1 on Unix (AIX experience preferred) BOE system configuration and tuning BOE security and content modeling/design Design and implementation of a system monitoring solution Troubleshooting and diagnosis of BOE platform issues.
