Senior Software Engineer
Job description:
A Senior Software Engineer is capable of designing and developing scalable,
highly available, and extensible game software solution as well as
modification and enhancement to existing systems. This individual must be
professional and have a proven track record of success in a fast-faced
environment and dispersed development teams.
Job Requirements:
Spring is mandatory ………..
Minimum 5yrs work experience in software design and development.
Must have demonstrable experience in object-oriented development using Java
and J2EE.
Must have experience and understand multi-threading and real-time software
architectures in a distributed system environment.
Must have experience in using TCP/IP API, XML, and Web Services
communication in Java.
Must have experience developing container-based applications such as JBoss,
Glassfish, Weblogic, Websphere, etc.
Must have experience developing database applications using mainstream RDBMS
such as mySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
Must have experience with manipulating and parsing XML based messages.
Must have experience with application performance tuning, redundant,
replication, and transaction management.
Must have experience in automated and continuous software building utilizing
Ant, Make files, scripts, and Cruise Control or any other continuous build
tools.
Must have experience using development tools such as Eclipse, NetBeans,
IntelliJ, etc.
Must have experience developing on Unix, Linux, Windows, Mac OS platforms.
Must have strong trouble shooting and analysis skills.
Must have team management or leadership experience.
Experience using source control tools such as CVS, SVN, Perforce.
Experience with functional, design, and technical requirements development
is a must.
Experience with application load balancing techniques and methodologies are
a plus.
Experience in J2EE including EJB, JMS, JAAS, JCA, JDBC, etc., Web
Development using JSF/JSP, Struts/Tiles, and Client/Server is a plus.
Experience in JMS, Web Services, SOAP, XML messaging is plus.
Experience in using OR mapping tools such as Hibernate, Toplink, JPA/JDO.
Experience in commercial software development is very desirable.
Experience with casino style game engine development is a plus.
Prefer experience with automated testing methodologies and tools.
Education:
College Degree is required (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)
