Requirement: Tasks Management and monitoring of TSM server 7x24 a. Monitor and administer TSM application Perform TSM administrative processes such as expirations, migration, reclamation and collocation, etc c. Manage TSM application so that backup schedules and policies are met per Ford''s requirements d. Interface with TSM vendor to resolve TSM related issues as needed e. Coordinate with system administrator groups (hardware and operating system diagnostics) to resolve issues related to TSM servers. f. Use Ford''s change control processes and interface with support groups for TSM application maintenance activities 2. Support of tape libraries a. Detect/diagnose issues related to tape libraries b. Interface with HW vendors as needed for problem resolution Provide operational support for TSM client backups a. Monitor daily backups for success and failure b. Track and respond to client backup failures/misses, and generate incident tickets Ford support teams c. Interface with system administration groups to diagnose TSM client issues, and backup failures d. Respond to Incident tickets related to backup/restore issues. e. Support archiving activities using TSM BA client f. Support the TSM client life cycle process (Install, decommission, migrations/upgrades) g. Provide operational support for special TSM client backups TDP for Exchange TDP for DB (oracle, SQL) CMBR Q backups Experience Working experience with managing TSM application in a large environment Working experience with troubleshooting backup related issues Working experience with TDP for Exchange Working experience with TDP for DB (oracle and SQL) *** The TSM admins must use TSM built-in tools to manage/monitor the TSM application and detect backup related issues *** Location : Dearbon, Michigan Duration : 3 years Rate : $50/Hr Regards Mohib Amtex Systems Inc.
