The ideal candidate will be expected to play a key role in ensuring wellsfargo.com applications perform as designed, while systems scale under increased load or transaction volume. This role requires an analytical problem solving approach. You must be a good communicator with excellent presentation skills. Your main focus will be: · Studying new or existing production systems and modeling production behavior in the performance environment · Environment configuration and management responsibilities for the Performance Environment · Analyzing results, identifying solutions that may improve application performance or system capacity · Recommending tuning opportunities and proving concepts · Documenting and presenting results to senior management Minimum Qualifications 4 year degree and 5+ years of relevant technical experience with at least 3+ years performance engineering Excellent verbal and written communication Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and technical resources Well-developed presentation skills Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently Performance Center/Loadrunner is required and other performance tools like JMeter are bonus Experience with testing and tuning applications run on BEA Weblogic Experience with testing and tuning Oracle databases Preferred Skills Experience with Financial Services Understanding of stubbing or simulating end points and when to use Experience working/configuring SAML, F5, sun-one webservers Experience with testing both GUI and webservices Strong Weblogic skills, including: · How to diagnose thread blocking, stuck threads and race conditions · monitoring of WLS via Wily Introscope · Know how to dump threads and heap and read same Good understanding and experience with Wily Introscope · Set-up of agent under Unix · Creation of custom pbd's · understanding of tracing applications and how to create a custom pbd to instrument specific classes Strong Unix skills · Ability to write bash scripts for information gathering purposes, especially for metrics that traditional tools do not report · Show strong problem solving skills to ascertain box health using basic Unix commands: vmstat, sar, truss, snoop, dtrace · Deep understanding of TCP/UDP for tracing root causes · Diverse Unix skills on multiple platforms, including Solaris Platform and Skill Set Expertise: QA Testing : Test Case Development, QA Testing : QA Testing Thanks & Regards, Angela Thomas Account Manager - Data Group Inc.
