Need Local to NY & NJ In-Person Required Network Engineer Duration: 12 months with a 2 year extension Location: Albany, NY Rate: Flexible (include minimum rates when sending resumes) Technical Requirements/Mandatory: * Bachelor's Degree; * Minimum four (4) years experience in data processing; * Minimum three (3) years experience working in a client/server environment with workstation and server hardware/software configurations; * Minimum three (3) years experience in client/server environment with Microsoft 2000/XP desktop operating Systems; * Minimum three (3) years experience in client/server environment with Microsoft 2000/2003 operating systems; and * Minimum three (3) years experience on a client/server environment with communications involving large LAN, WAN and VPN environments. * Four (4) years experience troubleshooting data communications equipment including hubs, switches and routers, firewalls, VPN tunnels, circuits and radius servers; * Four (4) years experience providing technical support in a large scale client/server open systems environment for Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 servers; * Four (4) years experience providing level 2 support including SSL VPN andclient VPN; * Three (3) years experience providing technical support within a large scale client/server open systems envirnment for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP workstations; * Three (3) years experience configuring and supporting Active Directory and applying group policy in a large scale Windows 2000/2003 environment; * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
