*Here are the requirement details* Job Name: Vignette Developer Location: Bethesda, Maryland One year project Must be U.S. Citizen, Greencard holder or EAD. Temp to perm currently looking for a Sr. Developer for Vignette. This candidate will be doing maintenance, J2ee coding for Vignette, and also working some with internal customers to define requirements for particular customizations. ? internal systems development organizations ? external development partners/vendors ? delivery of quality solutions ? innovative approaches to problem solving ? customer acceptance & satisfaction with end products ? high level of communication, teamwork & cooperation ? satisfactory team & customer feedback ? adherence to appropriate schedule and budget constraints ? actively participate as team member focusing on the long term technical solutions to product delivery Areas of Responsibility: ? requirements gathering ? solution design, development and unit testing ? functional, security & performance verification ? deployment support Technical Qualifications & Education Desired: Technical Skills/Computer: (Required ? 3+ years experience) ? 5+ years of development experience in a J2EE environment ? Familiarity with Object Oriented Design methodologies ? Subject matter expert in Vignette Content Management system, workflows and general configuration and administration for an enterprise wide implementation ? Familiarity with customizing the Vignette Content Management system ? Able to work comfortably in both a Windows and Unix environment ? Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate both to technical and business people (Bonus) ? Knowledge of: o WebSphere Application Server o SQL command language o DB2 (Desirable) ? Struts ? Clearcase, Clearquest ? UML ? Web Services, SOAP Technical Skills/Other: Working skills in the following areas: ? customer service orientation ? skills in problem definition/solving/communication of resolution status ? communication skills (listening, persuasiveness, oral, written) ? people (team orientation, judgment, interpersonal relations) ? results/goal oriented ? highly proactive; takes initiative ? technical writing skills ? ability to provide on-call support for application Education/Experience: ?
