Location : Lincoln, NE
Duration : 3 years
Rate : 40/hr
Description :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or 4 years experience in
business process re-engineering as a Business Systems Senior Analyst.
Must have two- (2) or more years experience (current within the last
year) in an operational role at a Medicaid or Medicare agency or Health
Insurance company.
Must have two– (2) or more years experience as a Business Systems Senior
Analyst working with HIPAA Transactions and Code Set Rule.
Must have seven– (7) or more years experience in working with business
clients and technical staff to develop business requirements and related
business documents for computer application modifications.
Must have seven- (7) or more years experience writing Business System
and Process Change Documents including Business Requirements Documents,
General System Design and Training Documents.
Must have seven– (7) or more years experience working independently
within guidelines, developing and executing test scripts, test cases, data
sets and user procedures.
Proficiency in speaking and writing in the English language is
required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to
gather and provide information effectively, regardless of audience.
Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional
collaborative skills. Must be service oriented with strong interpersonal
skills with all levels of business and technical staff.
Must have good overall PC skills including the use of Microsoft Office
products
Experience level with Microsoft Word and Excel must be at an
intermediate level or higher
Strong organization, planning, problem solving, and decision making
skills. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet
required deadlines.
Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Must be able to quickly learn
and apply new technology.
Preferred :
Two– (2) or more years experience as a Business Systems Senior Analyst
working with MMIS Claims Processing.
Experience working as part of a large (40+) development team using
structured procedures and guidelines.
Working knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Outlook, Lotus
Notes, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Access, Clarity and
Project Workbench.
