*Job description: Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff Experience with MS SQL Server 2005 Experience in Windows scripting languages Skilled in the use of database tools Skilled in the use of Veritas and SQLSafe backup tools Knowledge of MS Net application development tools Knowledge of multiple RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostareSQL) Knowledge of Web Services helpful Government or Health Industry project experience Experience with FDOH programs and database environment* *Required: * *1-7 years of experience administering MS SQL Server (2000/2005) Skilled in backup/recovery of SQL databases Skilled with T-sql and SQL stored procedures Skilled in troubleshooting and resolve database problems Experience monitoring and optimizing MS SQL Server Administering security of SQL Server and databases Knowledge of RDBMS database design principles for OLTP and/or DSS Systems. Data Extract, Transformation and Load experience Knowledge of databases, and skilled in supporting applications with SQL Server back-end processing. Ability to communicate technical data processing information effectively both verbally and in writing* *3.
