Title : Tester
Location : Washington ,DC
Length : 3 Months
Healthcare Experience a Must!
Required Skills:
A. Basic Skills
1. 4 to 6 years test team management experience
2. 6 to 8 years total testing experience
3. Familiarity with test tools for tracking application
and system
performance defects.
4. Background with HP Mercury (Quality Center, Quick Test
Professional (QTP) and Load-Runner.
B. Additional Skills
1. Strong communication skills
2. Project Management skills
3. Strong testing and quality assurance background
4. Excellent decision making skills
5. Strong self-motivation quality
6. Strong leadership and mentoring skills
7. Excellent analysis skills
C. Provide relevant experience in the performance of the following duties:
1. Manage a Test Team of direct and matrix reports
2. Generate Master and Project specific test plans and
schedules to support
team activities; and maintain those schedules and
plans throughout the
duration of the project.
3. Report on regular status to Management Team
4. Make recommendations to Application Development Team
for improving performance and quality
5. Make recommendations to client on System Configuration
changes to improve system performance and quality
6. Develop and analyze appropriate test metrics for
reporting
7. Evaluate requirements for testability
8. Work as an integrated member of a technical
solutions team
9. Chair and manage Defect Control Boards and Overall
Defect management lifecycle.
10. Perform Risk Based Testing Analysis against scope and
schedule and
determining appropriate action steps.
Software:
1. Mercury Tool Suite (Test Director/Quality Center, and Loadrunner)
2. IBM zOS JCL, MQ, CICS and DB2. These are a plus, not a requirement.
Languages:
1. Load-runner scripting language (C++)
