We're setting up a development box that will have a number of instances on it. We won't need any backup, since we can easily re-create the databases from testing instances.
I'm planning on implementing the disk storage as RAID0 - a single logical volume stripped across all the drives (6), with the stripe size set to the OS (Win2K) block size. We will only have 4 or 5 developers on the box at any one time and I want to maximize IO utilization.
