BIG DATABASE second post

I am wondering if any of you has a database with over 1000 active (making transaction at the same time ) clients ? If yes , What is your DB Server OS ? DB Server RAM and CPU count? Are you using Parallel Server for load balancing or Do I need it for 1000 active users?   Thank you So much ? Any idea will be very good for me?   Bunyamin K.
