This code looks the same as what you submitted earlier. The package body does not compile either. I am not sure what you are trying to do with the RTRIM function. I see that you will get for the first example 1 + 1 + 1 +1; end; but then what?
I have tried to compile the package body on 8.1.6/Solaris and 9i/NT and both bomb at concatenated string ( || ) on RTRIM code line.
