Santosh:

If the installation was to a PC, then check what type of installation was
installed. If you used the Enterprise Edition Server CD then you should
have chosen the "Custom" installation or "Client/DBA" installation option.
The "Client/End User" option does not install Import and Export utilities.
Do not select the "Client/Programmer" option either. The DBA option
installs the DBA tools, and import is considered something for the DBA to
use. As for how do you create a user, if you don't know, then I don't
think it is a good idea to attempt to even do an import unitl you have
become more familiar with Oracle DBA basics. Or you can use the Security
Manager GUI installed with OEM. (That is an option also.)

SQL> CREATE USER <username> IDENTIFIED BY <password> [DEFAULT TABLESPACE
<user_tablespace> TEMPORARY TABLESPACE  <temp_tablespace>]

for  importing on command prompt

imp  username/password@database  fromuser=<username> touser=<username>
file=<export_dump_file>

If you just want the table structure and no data then use ROWS=N option
too.
