I beg to differ Mr. Holman. The sqlplus command should work if the "/ as sysdba" is enclosed in quotes. So , the command would be sqlplus "/ as sysdba" . This works in Oracle9i on Unix and Windows NT/2000 environmnents. At least it does so in my environments.
